Bing Twitter Search

It seems with everyone Tweeting online these days, Bing and Google both want to join in the fun. Both companies announced yesterday that they would be including relevant Tweets in their search results. Bing made their announcement at the Web 2.0 conference in San Fransisco, and it appears to me that Bing may be out in front of Google a bit on this one.

Google Tasks Moves To The Big Screen

If you are like me and find that you need to keep track of your
tasks throughout the day, you will find Googles Tasks App very handy. It started off last year as an app for gmail. It has been available in google calendar and on your cell phone by going to gmail.com/tasks on your phones browser. Yesterday the Tasks app was given full page status in iGoogle.

Now you can keep track of your tasks for the day in iGoogle. Your tasks appear and are updated across the applications. If you enter a task in your cell phone, it updates in Google calendar by showing your tasks for that day, and it shows up on iGoogle. It's extremely helpful in keeping me ahead of the things I have to accomplish each day.

I've used Google for years, and it's the first thing I see when I start the day...online. The tasks list fits into the dashboard nicely, and you can easily see everything you have to do with the new full screen version. The only downside is that now I have no excuse for my procrastinations.

If you need help remembering everything you have to accomplish today, add it to your iGoogle App and every task you complete you can check it off the Tasks List. When you complete a task and no longer want it to appear on your list, click "Clear completed" in the actions menu, that removes it. You'll find yourself completing a lot more tasks, I promise you.

If you have been wondering where Bing gets those beautiful images for their homepage, this may explain it. The first photo wasn't able to be taken for for the first 48 hours.
