New Google Toolbar For Firefox!

I told you last week about the new sidewiki addition from Google. I added the new Google toolbar for Firefox today, and they have incorporated Translate into the Google toolbar for Firefox. Now you get one click advanced in-page translation right on the toolbar. The reason I'm so excited, is the fact that over 70% of Dr Cyberspace followers are from countries outside the US.

Dr Cyberspace has used the Google Translate widget from day one, and we feel it's one reason we have such a large following outside the US. Adding translation to the IE version of Gooogle toolbar was done several months ago, I'm pleased to see the Firefox version follow suit. We get a large tech following and many use Firefox.

The new 3.5 version of Firefox also introduced the Private Browsing mode, where Firefox will stop recording your browsing history. The new version of Google Toolbar for Firefox follows suit and doesn't record your searchbox history while in Private Browsing mode.

You can also turn off PageRank, Web History and Sidewiki if you like. You can now surf in private, if you desire. So, if you have been holding off upgrading your Google Toolbar for Firefox, now would be a good time to upgrade, whether you're inside or outside of the US.
