Use Google Chrome To Surf Incognito
I just downloaded the Google Chrome web browser this morning, and I must say, I like it. Google has done a great job in keeping the interface uncluttered. The screen is huge, but then, I haven't added all of my additional toolbars yet.
One feature I really like is the Incognito Window. You can now surf the internet without leaving a trace. With the Incognito Window, your pageviews won't show up in the browser or search histories. You won't collect any cookies with it either. When you close the incognito window, those cookies are gone. If you download a file or bookmark a site, those actions will be preserved.
Although there are few choices showing on the toolbar, the dropdown menus contain everything you'll need for safe surfing. There is a task manager with a flag at the bottom for nerds that is very interesting...but only to nerds.
If your eyesight isn't what it used to be, there is a zoom tool to enlarge the entire page, that looks handy. I think the designers may want you to type a little more than I'm used to. I'm a point and clicker from way back. That's why I love bookmarking sites so much. Since I type a lot of articles, I try to keep any extraneous typing to a minimum.
You can import all of your existing bookmarks from Firefox and your off and running. It's easy to navigate and for some reason, I can't figure out why, the Google Ads really stand out...imagine that. Well, I had to tell you about the Incognito Window, if I run across anything else I'll certainly let you know.
